Jude Woodward has worked for the Mayor of London since regional London government was re-established in 2000. Her brief for the Mayor includes responsibility for major events, which has included award winning promotional events for London such as the New Year’s Eve fireworks, the Olympic Torch Relay and Concert in 2004, the 2006 China in London season and annual events on Trafalgar Square.
She is also responsible to the Mayor for the promotion of London’s cultural and creative offer, including into priority emerging markets; helping set up the Mayoral offices in Beijing and Shanghai; liaison for the Mayor’s Office with the 2012 Olympic cultural programme; and represents the Mayor on the London Cultural Consortium.
She is also a board member of Museums, Libraries and Archives (London).
Jude has a BA (Hons) in Modern History from Oxford University (St. Anne's College).
