Step 2
Submit your application, with your discounted first year's membership fee, and request an advisory visit.
Step 3
An advisor will visit you to explain the scheme, review the criteria, and show you how you can analyse and improve your environmental performance.
Step 4
When you are ready, an independent fully qualified environmental auditor will come and assess your business against the scheme criteria.
Step 5
If you achieve the minimum standards you will be awarded a Bronze, Silver or Gold depending on your current achievements in sustainable practices.
Step 6
Award winners will be given a Green Tourism for London plaque and certificate for display.
Step 7
You will also receive a written post visit report with recommendations for further improvement and cost savings, and suggested steps to reach higher award levels at the time of your next assessment in two years.
