James joined Visit London in June 2005 following a highly successful period as Selfridges Marketing Director. A key member of the Selfridges team from 2001, he masterminded innovative and award-winning campaigns including Body Craze, 23 and a half Days of Bollywood, and Brazil 40 Degrees. He also launched two major new stores in Manchester and Birmingham. James' favourite London experience is gazing out from the Millennium Bridge, an icon of contemporary architecture, at the City with its wealth of heritage and the South Bank, the face of cultural London.

Sally joined Visit London in April 2007 with overall responsibility for Marketing, Communications and Commercial Partnerships. Prior to joining Visit London, she worked as an independent strategy consultant in the telecom and TV industries. Having begun her career with Unilever, Sally has since held a number of senior positions in telecoms, media and retail. She led the creation of Tesco Mobile, Europe’s second largest virtual mobile operator, as well as doubling Tesco’s branded telecoms revenues and profits in less than two years. She also headed British Telecom’s £4 billion consumer voice business, overseeing sales, marketing and customer service. Sally holds a BA in Law and Accounting, and is an INSEAD MBA graduate.

In the mid 1990s, whilst working for EMAP radio, she was invited to join the launch team of Heart fm as Head of Promotions, quickly overtaking Capital fm to become London’s most listened to radio station. Having taken the radio station to broadcast live from the Sydney 2000 Olympics and picked up 2 Gold Sony Radio Awards along the way, she then moved to do the same job at the Evening Standard. Martine joined Visit London in February 2004 and is charged with promoting the city she now calls home, as the world's most dynamic and exciting destination brand. David joined Visit London in 2003 after twelve years in the hotels sector, most recently as Director of Meetings and Events at Thistle Hotels. He now focuses on the economic benefit of improved business tourism into London and on the overall commercial performance of the Visit London organisation. He has also worked for VisitBritain and the London Transport Museum, and is now Visit London's resident bus spotter (just ask him the difference between a London Routemaster and a Regency Three!). Living close to Waterloo in central London, Ken loves to spend time walking along the banks of the Thames.
