All editorial feature copy on the Visit London site is commissioned by Visit London’s editors, then researched and written by the in-house editorial team or freelance copywriters.
Selections for inclusion in editorial features are made independently and the editors aim to cover what will be most interesting and useful to visitors of the Visit London website. This is based on the editorial team’s in-depth knowledge of London, thorough research and the expertise of commissioned freelance writers.
Editorial content is refreshed periodically. The frequency of updates is set depending the nature of the section. What’s On is updated daily and Shopping and Places to Stay are reviewed quarterly.
Visit London welcomes information from any source and at any time, particularly from Partners; and all information received is circulated throughout the organisation. However, inclusion cannot be guaranteed in our media (i.e. the website and our e-newsletters, which closely mirror the site).
Our remit demands that the editorial team is independent and non commercial. It is vital for the integrity and credibility of the site that positive coverage cannot be bought and any advertorials and advertising are labelled and charged for accordingly.
